Cardo announces brand new Bluetooth communicators.

Overnight Cardo Systems held a press conference and revealed 2 new Bluetooth communicators with some awesome new innovations.

Cardo systems are known for producing the Cardo Packtalk Bold and Packtalk Slim. The only IP67 rated waterproof Bluetooth and mesh communicators on the market.

The two new products are the Spirit line, and the Freecom line.

First up is the Cardo Spirit and Spirit HD, both running Bluetooth 5.2, wireless over-air software updates, both completely waterproof, and fast charging with a brand new USB-C port. Both of these intercoms are capable to connect with up to 2 people, as well as universal connectivity meaning you can connect to other brands of intercom.

Spirit comes with 32mm speakers and 10 hours of talk time between charges.
Spirit HD comes with 40mm HD speakers and around a 13 hours talk time, as well as a wideband intercom for better sound quality and integrated FM radio.

Secondly, Freecom X comes in 2 models, the 2x and the 4x, which Cardo is claiming as the best Bluetooth intercom available. Completely waterproof, with an automatically healing network, voice control, 40mm Speakers by JBL, Over-air updates, Bluetooth 5.2.
The Freecom 2x supports up to 2 riders with a range of 800m, While the 4x supports up to 4 riders with a range of 1.2km. With an integrated FM radio and able to play all the music from your connected device all in a smaller form factor and capable of fast charging with USB-C.

These new devices coming with a USB-C is great news, as that is the one thing we have been missing in the past few years on the Packtalk Bold units. And because they're completely waterproof and dustproof, they're not restricted to something only used by commuters and/or tourers. They can be used for trail riding, trials, even MotoX for comms between riders or pit crew. Great Job Cardo, we can't wait to get my grubby little mitts on one and give it a crack!

This means there are some really well-priced options for those who may not need quite as many features as the jam-packed Packtalk Bold which is priced at NZ$599.00 for the single and NZ$1059.00 for the duo and the Black priced at  NZ$649.00 for the single unit.
